Define Your Dash

This week I spoke at the Arizona SADD conference.
The T-shirts they passed out said, “Define Your Dash.” Huh? I had no clue what this meant.
After listening to a few speakers and asking questions, I now clearly understand what it means.

When we die our headstone reads, “Here lies John Doe 1943-1999.”
Only the year we were born and the year we died, with a “dash” in between. No details about the “dash,” (how we lived our dash).

How will you define your “dash?”

On a lighter note, many great individuals have schools, streets, libraries, etc., named after them.
Maybe someday I can get an outhouse named after me?

Something very good will come from this…….
