I am afraid that many of us have become very jaded and think that the world is full of bad people.
Well, first of all, stop watching the news! It’s not going to make you feel any better.

I am here to tell you there are many, many good people out there who are willing to help complete strangers.
Because of my recent surgery, I can’t lift my own carry on bag into the overhead compartment, on an airplane. After a few trips of checking luggage, I decided to rely on the kindness of strangers to help me and, well, you guessed it, not a problem. When I got on the plane I asked a stranger to help me and he did it gladly, and when the flight ended, he offered to get my bag back out.

During my little 1400 mile stroll, from Arizona to Montana, rarely a day went by that at least one person didn’t stop and offer a ride, food, water, or ask if we needed help. On the rainy/snowy days I would have many people stop and offer to help.

I believe the world is full of a lot of good people and a few bad people.
